The key to design success is to not over use elaborate glass beads. Scale back on Venetian style or wedding cake beads, as they are sometimes known. Get the best value from mixed bead packs by making the most of the plainer style beads. Use these beads to show off the more unique designs of silver foil beads, cane beads or intricate lac beads.
If a beaded charm bracelet is made with lots of elaborate glass or lac beads for example, it is difficult to appreciate their individual unique beauty. Even if it is your intention to make a very ornate design it is important to include some beads that you may not ordinarily consider to demonstrate each bead�s individual feature.
